STAR QUALITY
With both FOXSPORTSNET AND LEAFSTV covering the CCHA playoffs, be sure to watch out for Michigan's #7, sophomore T.J. HENSIK. This kid is a can't miss NHLer, and as fun a player to watch as I've seen in a long, long time. He has Kris Draper speed and handles the puck like Denis Sevard. His spectacular end to end rushes will remind you of guys named Orr and Coffey! He is the standout player on a team with five or six guys headed to the NHL! Other Wolverines to watch out for...
AL MONTOYA (G)
ERIC NYSTROM (F), team captain and son of 4 time Stanley Cup winner Bob Nystrom. He is an excellent defensive player with
knack for scoring big goals!
JEFF TAMBELINNI (F), another exciting offensive player, great passer, another guy who scores when they count!
ERIC WERNER (D), at 5'10" 170, he is undersized, but tenacious, quick and tough. Not afraid to mix it with the big boys!
Coming off his best 2 weekends of the season. He is in playoff mode.
I have been to a number of college games this year, and I gotta tell ya, I have enjoyed them as much as any NHL game. The fans at college games are absolutely the best!
