I could never shoot a deer but I identify with that guy's story. My dad and a lot of his and my friends in Iowa went hunting every year growing up.
I don't have a huge problem with sport hunting. I love fishing. I eat meat. Responsible sport hunting can serve a purpose in game control also. It's not the hunting so much that I hate but rather the types of people that seem to enjoy it too much. Pretty similar to my opinion on guns. Responsible ownership is fine. But I hate the type of people that actually enjoy owning guns.

Grew up in a town where the only industry was the abbatoirs... if you eat meat, chicken, fish etc... you should at least be aware and honour the life you are consuming... the worst waste is whe someone throws away a lamb chop or chiicken or other...unsure U could actually shoot something...but used to watch the slaughter of the sheep and cattle with litle emotion...as a kid it just was.
