THE MORNING AFTER
Sooo...... how was your Valentines? Was it what you expected? Better? Worse? Any horror stories? Divorces in the making? Love kindled or rekindled? Tell us your stories!
It's funny (peculiar, not ha ha), even though I am really sour on romance, and relationships beyond purely physical, easily my favorite movie genre is Romantic Comedy. I am such a sucker for chick flicks! So in honor of St. Valentines Day, here is my all time favorites list!

What is wrong with you, man? When Harry Met Sally only 14th? lol. That's my all-time fave.
Great list, though. I love As Good As It Gets, Singles, and Roxanne. I'd add Amelie and High Fidelity.

Wow, I would never have you pegged for a chick flick afficianado. It's obviously true that we all have our deep, dark secrets! ;)
I love "The Mirror Has Two Faces".

McClintock IS the BEST!!
L loves romantic comedy too. He can't watch Father of the Bride without getting teary; Daddy's little girl, you know. ;)
Your list is missing our favorite: Must Love Dogs.
V-day? I second UWL's opinion!

I always liked "As Good As It Gets", Jack rocks!
Valentines day was weird here, my wife has been mad at me for weeks now...all I said was "get off my back". She is and, off my front too. Women who can figure 'em?

TJ - I feel your pain. Never have been able to figure them out... which is probably why i am terminally single.
Sliding Doors--Gwenth Paltrow
Like Water for Chocolate--Mexican film
agree with dbacks nomination for High Fidelity.
Good choices, Mark--never pegged you for a romantic-film buff.

Like Water For Choclate came very close to making the list, as did A Walk In The Clouds w/ Keanu Reeves and Aitana Sanchez-Gijon (a movie people either love or dispise, no in between)
I have seen all of these except 11 and 16. Also, I love your fav concert list. Wish I could have seen any of them. *sigh*
Valentine's Day was eh. Dan bought me a new Cloisonne fish, but it was pretty much just another day.
Dan is the fan of romantic chick flicks. I could do without. The exception is Love Story, but I can't bring myself to watch Oliver's Story.
Do you know if it's true that Love Story was based on Al Gore? I heard that somewhere.

According to Erich Segal, the characters Oliver and jen are loosely based on al and Tipper, whom he had as students at Harvard
